Aniksen rumpu ja kapula Anis' drum and beater

Tässä on Aniksen peurarumpu, pihlajakehällä. Ripustin siihen kolme tähtianista... Nahan olen käsitellyt itse. Rummun sidonta on aika erikoinen, sain sen näkynä pian Aniksen kysyttyä, tekisinkö hänelle rummun.

Kahva on silkillä päällystettyä nahkaa, sisäkehä juuttiköyttä ja sekin päällystetty vihreällä silkillä.

Rumpu on kevyt, tuulinen, hilpeä ja parantava.

Kapulan veistin pihlajasta. Pää on huovutettu ja koristettu silkillä.

This is Anis' deerdrum, the hoop is rowan. I even hung three staranises into the drum... I have treated the hide by hand. The laceing is quite special -  I was given a vision short after anis had asked if I could make her a drum

The handle and the inner hoop are covered with green silk.

The drum is light, windy, cheerful and healing.

I made the beater from rowen as well. The tip is quilted and tied with silk.

Saijan rumpulaukku Saija's drumbag

Ompelin tekemälleni rummulle kassin. Sisäpuoli on käsinkudottua kaksisävyistä thai-silkkiä, ulkopuoli kullansävyistä tikattua kangasta.

I made a bag for a drum I made. The inside is hand-woven two-tone thai-silk, outside golden quilted cloth.

Tämäkin rumpu meni USAan. Poronnahkaa, Elämän Puu-kuviointi tehty märällä lepän kuorella, kehä katajaa, viimeistelty mehiläisvahalla.

This reindeerskin drum went to USA. The Tree of Life is painted with wet alder bark on the skin. The handmade hoop is juniper and is finished with bee's wax.

Eskilin rumpu

Eskilin rumpu edestä. Poronnahkaa, solmuvärjätty. Sininen tulostimen mustepatruunasta, punertava punaviinistä ja vesiväristä, kellertävä kurkumasta. Kapula katajaa, pää huovutettu.

Eskil's reindeerskin drum. Knot-dyed. Blue: printer's ink cartridge. Red: red wine mixed with watercolor. Yellow: turmeric powder. Beater is juniper with a quilted tip.

Eskilin rumpu takaa. Tehty valmiiseen kehään.

Eskil's drum from behind. Made using a manufactured pine ply-wood hoop.

Aadan rumpu

Aadan rumpu. Poronnahkaa, solmuvärjätty tulostimen mustepatruunasta saadulla värillä. Kapulan pää huovutettua villaa, varsi katajaa.

Aada's reindeerskin drum. Knot-dyed using an old printer's ink cartridge. Beater is juniper with a quilted wool tip.
